That being said, we acknowledge that there are less expensive vendors of PPF out there. Some of them are representing their product as 3M Scotchgard™, and yet are retailing for substantially less than our wholesale cost as an Authorized 3M Converter/Installer. How can that be?
Logically, product which retails for less than cost cannot be genuine.
- In some cases product represented as 3M is 2 or 3mil clear commercial graphics film.
- In some cases 3M VentureShield film is being passed off as Scotchgard.
- In some cases 3M 846 Series Surface Protetion Film (uncleared), that is without UV clear coat.
- In other cases, simply counterfeit or fake product.
